Airyhall School, which is co-educational and non-denominational, first opened in August 19 64. As part of the 3Rs initiative Airyhall amalgamated with Braeside Nursery/Infant School in 2004 and now caters for pupils from Nursery to Primary 7.
Initially the school was managed on a split site, with the nursery and infant departments remaining on the Braeside Place site. However, in order that our new premises could be constructed, primaries three to seven were relocated there at the end of the school session 2006/7. The move was a great success and we all enjoyed the new temporary accommodation, and each others’ company!
